Hi Y'all, this is Sally Ann. For two days the phone/Internet/television has been turned off. Personally, I really didn't have a problem with it, but Mommy has been real concerned. She seems real happy now. Again, I don't know why it was a problem, but all is well now. Well, we took lots of pictures of the flood. Lucky us, we did not get any flood in our house, but not all were as lucky as us.
This was the golf course and the street, or river.
Those rocks form a path that goes to the golf course. Oh well, it couldn't be used then.
There ducks swimming in the street, oops, I mean river.
There the ducks.
Look there is a stop sign.
There is a stop sign and a street sign. Mommy said that is not normal.
That was a lot water.
Also, I drew a picture of me and Oskar. Mack suggested I put it on the blog.

ReplyDeleteYeah, we are also glad that you are safe and sound! Where exactly was the flood? This sounds like a serious lot of water...very scary I would imagine. Now you don't need to go to that beautiful doggie swimming pool of yours ? :)
Hope it all gets cleaned up. What a shock!

Glad ya'll are not swimming in your house. Stay out of the water because it can carry scary critters like snakes, etc.! We learned all about that in Tropical Storm Allison many years ago. But it is definitely tempting so be careful. sending you thoughts of dryer land from Texas!
ReplyDeleteOh Gosh,

Hope your street dries up soon so you can go for a walkie.

We're a couple of days behind...glad to hear the flooding didn't harm you woofies and beans too much. A few days without service is icky but better than it could have been!

That really is quite a bit of water you had there. Did you get to apply your life saving skills? We bet there needed you and every paw on board to help the people in need....
