Big sister thoughts . . .

Hi, this is Sally Ann the big sister.   My little brother is many things. He is boy friend to Miss Siku, a Mommy's boy to my Mommy, and a sweet little brother.  Mommy went to somewhere on Saturday to do something called "babysitting."  I thought I was the baby, or rather at least Andy was the baby. Oh well, enough getting distracted. Mommy read a book to the four year old little girl while doing this strange "babysitting."
She found Andy, or a written description of him. Here is my little brother.

I know Andy is not a Llama, but he can sure act like the main character in this book sometimes.

The Pink Avenger is coming.

Hello, in my house, Andy has disappeared. There is a dog walking around calling himself the pink avenger.

He says he will avenge any doggie that has been affected by canine IBS. The pink avenger looks a lot like Andy, buy he claims to  be the pink Avenger and only wants to avenge doggies with sensitive tummies. Funny, this pink avenger likes to be carried like a baby just like Andy. I guess will never know. He ask me ask y'all if anyone needs to be "avenged." Let me know, and he will appear.

I will let everyone know if Andy appears.

Mon rendez - vous en France

Hi, Good Morning everyone.   We just got back from France. We spent last night at a hotel, so we could spend more time there. My husband is so great.  He remembered one of our first dates, and he recreated parts of it.

We had our picture painted to reminder the date
We ate at a great little brasserie with some other doggies. I speak French, and my husband has been to Inlingua, so he can speak a bit. It was amazing.

Hugs for Benny!

We wanted to post pictures of us hugging Mommy.

Andy is very much a Mommy's boy, and he loves to hug Mommy. Andy is happiest in Mommy's arms. He is loved, and a big part of our little pack.

Andy Stanley is Pink and other stuffs

Hello blog ville!
This is Sally Ann, the Welsh lady. On Wednesday, Andy and I went to the groomers. It was mostly for me. Before:

This is the after:

I am getting ready for dog date day tomorrow. Hootie is going to take me to on a surprise date.  He said we would be going somewhere amazing.  I got my furs trimmed to get ready for our date. Now, onto Andy. His grr - friend, Siku, couldn't go with him because she has a new brother.  So, he is going to babysit Baby Sylvie. Mommy has been worried he is to skinny, so she has been giving him extra food. Tonight, he got moist food after his dry food. How unfair is that.  He is healthy, but he is slim. I think he ate to much on Thursday because he had some runny number two this morning. So, he had the pink stuff. Now, he is pink.
He is a bit ashamed to be pink, but Mommy and I still love him very much. He is unsure about how his grr-friend will react on Sunday. They have tentative plans to go to Sedona to see the rocks and cliffs.

Andy and I eat every night, but he is a skinny dog. I am a normal weight, but he is super skinny.  Mommy says he needs more food. He gets 2 cups of food at night, and 1/3 a can of moist food. She says that after a week or so, he should put on just a bit more. He is only 3, so we are not worried about any scary diseases; but apparently, the one cup a day of doggie food wasn't enough. I'm a healthy weight and I eat one cup a day, but Mr. high metabolism needs more. It is not fair, but I get some duck jerky when he gets moist; which, kinda makes up for it.
I have to go and get ready for my special date with my hubbie,

Halloween costume questions

Hello,
This is me, a Welsh lady dog.

I have been thinking about Halloween.  Mommy and I have decided on the costumes this year, but we don't know how they will be made.

I will be Little Bo Peep, and Andy will be my sheep. He is already white, and he does follow me around the house.  Mommy says she wants me to have pantaloons on my front and back legs.  We enter lots of doggie costume contests in Atlanta, and we always place.  I like getting the attention, and it is fun. Mommy carries me, and Andy and I get to ride in the stroller; or, as Frankie and Ernie call it, the no walking wagon.
Could some out there recommend a doggie seamstress that makes costumes?  The nice lady who made our costumes before doesn't make them any more.

A Sunday Post: Mommy gaurding and family

This is a post about my little brother, Andy.

He is a Mommy's boy.  He has to keep her in his sight at all times. If she leaves the room, he follows. If she makes a loud noise, then he comes. He loves Mommy, and he always wants to be near her. He says "I am Mommies' protector dog." Andy will come when Mommy calls any dog.  Mommy could call me, and then he would come.
When Hootie and I were visiting Mommy and Andy last week. Hootie took this picture of my side of the canine family.

Hootie is such a proud Papa of his daughter . He took this picture, and he said,  "these are my two girls."

Well, we must go!  There are early evening naps to be taken, and then we must make sure Mommy goes to the gym; and, then I have to fold clothes. It sure is hard being the hard working Welsh lady dog of the house. I have teach Baby Sylvie how to be a good girl doggie.

Our Multi - faceted blog post

Hello Blog world, we are here, and we have stuff to say.  Mommy has been procrastinating, so she said tonight we would write. I, of course, dictated everything to Mommy. I always proofread before it is posted.

Well, we have been busy.  Mommy had to go to Ikea last week, and she came home with two ratties.

Well, do you notice a difference between the two. My esteemed brother, Andy, decided his rattie had two legs to many. So, he chewed two off of his. His rattie now has only two legs. His is gray, and mine is brown.

This is further proof of the legless state of his rattie. Notice how the brown rat has all four legs in the picture.  Well, just before Mommy and I started writing our post tonight, somebody, whom shall remain nameless, chewed off two legs of my rat.

I think my rat tried to run away from me, I don't know why. I only chew on the rats to show my love. I really don't see the problem.

I finally received my new collar. It still needs to be engraved with my name, but it is mine. The collar is way older than I am.  Mommy says I could be from the 1920's. That's a lot in doggie years.

The collar even has the original lock attached to it. It might not be an antique, but it is sure shinny.

Andy is a bit glum because his honory pack lost of their senior members. This senior member was very very sick, and it was really really really sad. It still is, but things won't always be sad. I don't really have a good photo of him, so I'm going to use a picture of my big brother to represent him. They looked very similar, as they were both bigger than standard Eskimo dogs.  Did y'all know a standard Eskimo dogs should weight about 20 pounds. Andy never really ask Quinn how much he weighted, but I think he was about 27 pounds after he put on his healthy weight when he was rescued.

I have to go now because it is almost time for Siberia on NBC. Mommy and I love watching it. I want to get a good spot on the big bed to see the television. My little girl is going potty outside now, and she is not wearing diapers anymore. She is a bit shy, but I'll see if I can tempt her with Ice Cream. I think I'll ask Mommy for some tonight!

We have crossed our paws for Quinn . . .

We have crossed our paws for Quinn, will you? He is a mighty special gentleman dog who needs lots of happy thoughts and prayers. You can copy the image to put on your blog, if you want too. I think if lots of doggies cross their paws, then he will know we are thinking of him; and, he will improve.

The mighty Quinn of the white dog army

Hello all,
This is Andy. My grr - friend, Siku of The white dog dairy, is worried along with her whole family about her brother, Quinn. He has had cluster fits that did not stop for hours.  As of the writing of this post, he is in the doggie hospital.  He is the older gentleman dog of the group, and he needs happy thoughts and puppy prayers.  He loves his family, and he(as of now, as far as I know) isn't doing well. Please pop by to let his family know we are thinking about him.

Pictures from the past

Hi y'all, this is me Sally Ann.  Mommy found some pictures for a book that the five sibs Mommy is writing.  This is my big sister Sylvie. She lived before the days of the doggie blogs. So, y'all never really knew her.  She was Mommy's littlist princess, and she was very  very  much loved. She was sitting in her throne in this picture. She liked riding in the stroller, and she was given loads of attention sitting in her throne.

A smile for Sugar

In my house we believe in celebrating birthdays.  My big brother had a bark mitzvah, and my big sister had a sweet sixteen birthday party(she was 16 human years).  So, here is my big ungroomed fuzzy smile for Sugar. She is still young.

A late night post . . . and a baby

Good night, or rather, Almost Good morning
Mommy and I can't sleep.  So, we shall write a post. I think it was a brilliant idea.  In the last post, I mentioned my daughter.  My husband, Hootie, and I adopted her, as we can't have babies our selves.  She is named after Hootie's big sister, Baby Rocket dog, and my big sister, Sylvie. I have one  picture of her with me, that I was able to sneak in past Mommy's no picture policy until after groomed policy. I really do look like a different dog. I don't look Welsh at all. I will get groomed soon, but when, I am not sure.  Well, here it is.  The picture I was able to sneak in.
She is a bit shy, so she was trying to hide behind me.

Thoughtfull talking thursday

Hi it's me, Sally Ann.  We are back.  Today we slept late, it was 10:30 when we got up. Wow, it was late.  Andy tried to get Mommy up by giving her kisses.  He loves Mommy very much.  Then, Mommy had a medium size milk bone for us.  She put half in my day crate, and half in Andy's play pen.  I wanted to get at it, but Mommy said I had to wait till she left.  Finally, she let me in.  Andy was doing his circus walk for his.  He is part human. He can walk on back legs for a long time. I wonder if there are any other Eskies who human walk dance?
Mommy said we desperately need to be groomed, but Mommy says we must earn more green dollars; so, I am helping Mommy with a new blog.  I read about a lady who moved to France by writing a blog.  Funny, a human who can earn green papers simply by writing. I told Mommy she should write a blog with my name. I like the name, "Words from a Welsh person," or "Sayings from Sylvie."  If y'all can think of any catchy names, let me know. It is hard being the intellectual doggie. Andy is plenty smart, but he prefers to tell the other doggies that he is Mommie's man dog.
During my time away, Hootie and I adopted a puppy named Baby Sylvie. I don't have any good pictures because Mommy said, "no." She says I am to woolly, and I want to show y'all what I look like. So, for now, you will just have to imagine what we look like. Andy is acting funny now, so I have to go and make sure he is not getting something I am not.

Hello we have been away

Hi from Atlanta.  We are here, and Mommy has a new computer; so, she has no reason to not help us with our blog.  We are here. We are here. We need to be groomed badly, so Mommy said no pictures of us.  I currently look like a wholly Airedale puppy, and Andy's biscuit cream colors are more biscuit cream than white.  Our adventures have consisted of going to visit the pizza truck, watching Mommy try to vacuum; but, the beast died.  Dying vacuum cleaner beast make horrible sounds.  I think Andy's furs killed the vacuum.  Did y'all know that my big brother Mack went through four or five vacuums. American Eskimo dogs have lots of hairs, and they can kill vacuum cleaner monsters.  Mommy tried switching our doggie food.  I have an iron stomach, but American Eskimos don't.  Andy was sick for three days, and he had lots of pepto.  His main was pink.  Andy looked like he had been dyed pink.  He was quite funny to look at.  He did not feel well.  He recovered, but Mommy learned a lesson. We only eat Blue Buffalo sensitive stomach dog food. I have to sit by Mommy now, and I quite enjoy my Mommy time.
Your wholly Welsh lady friend,
Sally Ann
