Lord Duncan of McDuff

Today Mommy, Nana, Mack and I went to the Vet's to say goodbye. Mack hasn't been well, and he wasn't improving. Mommy did the only thing possible to make him better.

It is just me and Mommy now.

  16. Sally Ann, you and your mom was so brave and selfless to understand that it was time to listen to Mack and let him go to where he is forever young and painfree. Know that he will be waiting to greet you both with kisses when it is your time to cross the Bridge. We ache to know the grief and emptiness that your heats must feel. Please feel our paws and arms surrounding you with love and find comfort in the fact that Mack will never be forgotten...he lives forever in the hearts and memories of everyone (two- and four-legged) he touched and inspired. We will light a candle to help him find his way.

  17. Sally Ann and Mommy,

We are so sorry that Mack had to cross the Rainbow Bridge before you could all go together. You made such hard decisions, and by being brave enough to make them, Mack is free and can run now. You both gave Mack so much love - there's nothing more any eskie could ask for. We join you in your sorrow.
