Hello Hello

Hello Blogging world,
This is your astute librarian and librarian assistant. I have been super busy getting ready for my big fashion show and maintaining our amazing library. For this fashion show, they writing up a profile of each canine model, and I told them about Earth dog. Mommy and I can't find any really good pictures of it. Are there any Welshies out there with some good earth dog pictures that I could borrow? I need just one to show off my prowess at going in tunnel, but I can't find any. This might be a long shot, but that ok. If there isn't anyone, Mommy and I can dig(I'm good at digging) more. I know there will be something.

The life of a busy Welsh lady

Hello dear blog friends,
I am a busy Welsh lady. I have many jobs.  I am the blogville librarian, but that is only my day job. When I'm at home with Mommy and Andy, guess who get to Mansit, Me, Mommy gives me cookies for mansitting. I am also training to be a real model. I get to be in my first real fashion show with a real model lady(I hope she doesn't stomp to much, but I'm preparing for anything)Mommy and I practice walking each day, and I get cookies for walking properly. If I walk around her, and then I stick to her in a standing position; then, I get a cookie. It is very easy and tasty.

Work work work

Mommy said I look cute, but I told her, "I am a proud Welsh dog, not a bunny." I lost the argument when cookies and a prime cuddle spot opened up next to Mommy.  What other jobs do y'all have out there in blogville?

New Library books on loan

We have some loaned library books for a bit. . .  I think all of the canine citizens of Blogville will be quick to check out these books.

I am a bit worried that the next book is a bit racy, but it was part of the collection.

This lovely collection is on loan from the Thomas Bacon estate, so they won't be here for long. If you want to check out a bacon book, bring your library card and come on down. If you need to know how to get one, Mommy helped me to put the directions on my blog. All you have to do is e - mail me at pbsylvie(at)aol(dot)com with your picture, and your a card carrying member of the Blogville public library.

P.S. Andy saved some books at the Blogville Hilton after the jury went a bit wild. He was afraid they would chewed or pottied on. Andy reports the books were saved and now they are back in the Blogville Hilton's borrowing library, You can read more about this on Frankie and Ernie's blog.

Library Memberships are up

I am quite the happy Welshie. Our library memberships are increasing, and there are many doggies checking out books. We even have a section on Cats. Don't you want to know sometimes about kitties, and when you try to talk to them; then, they just run away or try to hurt you. Well, if I have learned anything from Mommy, when one is unsure - research, research, research. That is Mommies approach to many problems. Looking for a new job, find a book on job searching(their too many out there; but, I won't digress), or looking for a Middle English dictionary, find a book(currently, Mommy is reading the Cantabury tales to me and Andy - I like the sound of woulde and coulde and such). So, I present the section on cats. If you need to know anything about these little animals, here you are. Some of you have kitty brothers and sisters, and you know lots; but, there are some like me and Andy who know nothings.

The library is ready

I am a busy little librarian.  I have many of shelves set up, so if you have a library card, you can start borrowing books.

We have lots of books..

Lots of books on dogs.

The even books on bugs.

There books on big, animals who could eat us.

For those of us who like science type things, there are books.

So, enjoy, we are open and ready. If you want to check out any books, send a picture to PBSylvie(at)aol(dot)com.

Sally Ann, the Welshie librarian

The library is open

I, your astute and sometimes too verbose Welshlady librarian Sally Ann, am pleased to announce that the library is going to be opening. We are in stage one of the opening. We need members, please send me your pictures, if you want a library card.
My e - mail is PBSylvie(at)aol(dot)com. There is another one listed, but Mommy tells me, this one is better.
Mommy said if I put a picture of bacon, then more fur - people would read about it. So, here is a picture of bacon.

Please join the library? Surely, you can't say no to my pleading face. Here I am getting ready to go lay out by the pool with my good book.

Here is an example of the library card.

Library Stuff

Hello Blogville, Tis I, your hardworking Welsh librarian, Sally Ann. I am wearing my Belle outfit here. Isn't dressing up fun? Oh, I know, this is not library stuff; but, ok, I have a problem.

Mommy doesn't have adobe Photo shop(I don't know what that is, but she seems concerned that she can't help me make up library cards),  and she wanted me to ask y'all if anyone had any suggestions for programs to make library cards.

Books for the Library

Here in Blogville, our library is growing and becoming an amazing place to be. Here are some of the books we are thinking about obtaining.

I think that some of the Doxies' might be interested in one of these books.
I wants to promote literacy, and library membership. I am working on creating library cards .

I love reading books at night, and this is one of my favorite books.

An inquiry for an Eskie lady

Hello,
Sally Ann and I have been sorting and cataloging books all day. Whew, I sure love helping Sally Ann. She is the bestest big sister ever. Sally Ann let me take over the blog tonight because I have some thing really special to ask some doggy. This doggy  has white with furs like mine, and she has lots of white doggies that she calls brothers and sisters. I want to ask if she will go with me, Lord Angus of MacDuff, to the big country dance? I have to perfect design for a big cow, but I only want to go if she goes with me.

Welshie words

Hello Blogville,
I have been a busy Welshie woman. There is a good chance that I might get to be a real doggie model in a fashion show with tall stomping human ladies. Mommy has been praticing with me on how to walk like a show doggie. I've been learning the word "present." When ever I "present" correctly, I get a treat. It is fun, and it's quite tasty.
Secondly, I'm going to get to be officially the blogville librarian. Wow, Mommy has been reading books to be since I was a small puppy. I love books, and letting other doggies know about the love of books is something I love doing. I'm only a 7 year old doggie, and I love reading books that have animals in them. Mommy makes the animal sounds, and it is so exciting. One of my favorite book series is "Llama, Llama." I like the pictures of all the animals.

I like to have literacy around me. See,  I am standing on words. Well, they might be French words, but I speak French. Mommy taught me to read and speak French. I love anything that Mommy and I do together.  Mommy and I love books that have this symbol on them.

More art from Sally Ann

Hello, I am a Welsh artist. I went to petco unleashed last weekend, and I made a clay mold of my paw.

I took a picture of Andy with my pig toy on his head, I call it chien a la couchon.
Now, my piece de resistance, my red paw print. . .

Finally, Happy St. George's day to my British friends. I'm not celebrating because I'm Welsh(but if there was a dragon to attack, then I would gladly bark behind Mommie's legs), and we celebrate St. David's day(also my wedding anniversary).

My new name

Hello Bloging friends,
Since I've returned from being away, some things have made me sad and some happy. I thought I would update blogging world why my name changed. I married my fiance about 2 and half years ago. We ran off to Greta Green in England.  He is the best hubbie ever.

The new bathroom

During my blogging hiatus, I helped my Mommy to redecorate the bathroom. I really think it looks great! Mommy told me that the bathroom should look like the fur - persons that live in the house. So, I went on to ebay, and I found some wall art that reflected my taste. I even found a picture of Bubba, but I have to save my paw pocket money to buy it.

So, here is new bathroom art.

I think the bathroom looks amazing now. It is a super tiny bathroom, so the pictures had to be just right.I am posing for a picture in the bathroom.

Andy Stanley, the grown up man dog

This post is all about my little brother, Andy Stanley. He became an official Santa dog this Christmas, and he disappeared on Christmas Eve; then, he returned early the next morning. He never really explained. All I know is, he brought me a beautiful new couture coat when he returned.

Also, do you know that my brother could be an expert crate racer. Yes, I said "crate racer." My little brother can pop the pan out of the crate, and then move the crate to where ever he sees fit. He can walk the crate to the door. When Mommy comes home, he is there to meet her.

.
Andy is loved, but it is a great responsibility to a big sister and man sitter(if I say baby sitter, then he gets a bit miffed). Andy has fiance, many of you know her and her pack. Andy's beloved, and her pack look  just like him.  They are all white and fluffy.

Wow, I must go and make sure all is well. I don't want a certain man dog getting my tennis's balls.

I am an artist.

I am an artist. Yesterday, Mommy took me to Petco where I painted a picture with my paw. It was paw painting day. I had a grand time, and I made a beautiful picture.

Good Morning

Hello, how are you doing today? I am sitting here writing my blog. Mommy woke me up early. I like to stay in bed, but now I am up. I suppose I'll chase bubba around and play tennis' ball.
