Hello this is Sally Ann, Mommy and I are going to Ocala, Florida to do some earth dogging in March;but, Mommy was wondering about hotels in that area? If there are any blog friends that live near there that might know of any, could y'all let my Mommy know.
Thanks,
Sally Ann

ReplyDeleteSounds exciting - try holiday-inn.com. They are fairly dog friendly.

Mom should check out vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner) there are usually great deals and you get more than a room (saves on food costs, too). We do that a lot when we travel. When we went to San Diego we rented a condo for the week right on the dog beach...it was great and cheaper than a hotel. Earth Dogging does sound like lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm of no help there - but would love to hear about the trip!
ReplyDeleteMe me me! I know an Airedale somebody in Ocala! Is can you email me with your email and I'll pass it to her?
ReplyDeleteDearest Sally Ann, La Quinta Inns accept pooches. Here is the link to the Ocala La Quinta: http://www.lq.com/lq/properties/propertyProfile.do?ident=LQ988&propId=988

Sally Ann,
ReplyDeleteHilton's accept dogs too. The Hilton in Ocala's website is:

They usually have a nice pooch package that they will give out too...like a goodie bag!! You should call and find out if they have any weight restrictions though, as some are like 10# or less. Sheesh...who weighs 10#?!

Good luck on your hotel search, Sally Ann!!
